La Grange Economic Development Corporation's priority is to work with the local existing business base in the areas of retention and expansion to assist them with their needs in an effort to grow the existing business base for the community.

To attract new businesses to the community in an effort to provide for new employment opportunities, increase the local tax base, and enhance the quality of life within the La Grange area and the community.

To provide for community development projects which enhance the quality of life, infrastructure, and appearance of the community. 

Objectives:

  • To locate more retail businesses in downtown La Grange in hopes of utilizing all of the remaining vacant building space available.

  • To create activities and events to be held downtown so that we attract people to our downtown from outside the local area.

  • To assist new and existing businesses through providing educational business assistance information and seminars.

  • Administer activities of the La Grange Economic Development Corporation.

  • Implement Economic Development Program for the Community.
